No windsor fall league
Windsor doesn't have a fall league. They use the HS fields for fall sports. Vernon has a fall league.

brad,
checked the fields out and it looks like the high school raked them, there was some mud behind the pitures mound and some next to 2nd base but should dry up by game time with a little amount of racking if needed for thos two spots. We should be good to go to play the games tonight as long as the rain holds up today.

Thanks, Craig. I don't think it is supposed to rain for the rest of the afternoon, so the field will have an additional 5 hours or so to dry. If you could factor that into your on site observations, that would be great.

tonight's games
What is the likely time we have a confirmation on whether the game is on for tonight?
I also had a thought for the Wednesday games. Cerbones and Arch St. are supposed to play the Misfits, but since that team was kicked out of the league, it leaves the field open. Is it possible for the teams to play a makeup game against an opponent which was cancelled due to rain earlier in the season?

Rick,
Thanks for your response. Rules say to reschedule the game and the ump should have stopped after the first strike of lightning. I am glad no one got hurt last night. We have had this ump a couple of times now and we are not satisfied with him at all. He is a nice guy but not a good ump. I hope that Brad will reschedule. Be aware Gym we wont let you score so many runs in the first inning again :)

I told Brad we would like to reschedule/resume the game, whateverthe rules call for. The ump would have called the game a few minutes after you left the field. I was surprised when he said he was calling it a forfeit. We just want to play games.

Hey Gym,
We would like to reschedule the game from last night. Rules say that at the first sight of lightning the game needs to be postponed and can not resume until after 20 minutes of the last sight of lightning. So that ump should have called the game. I was worried for my team and your team. If you dont want to reschedule then we will have to take the forfeit but would rather not go out like that. Let me know what you all think.
